Boise: City Hotels and Accommodation

A large number of hotels lie in the downtown district, which is approximately 5 miles / 8 km from Boise Airport (BOI). The capital of Idaho, many of the most popular hotels and accommodation options in the city can be quick to fill during the main festivals, which include Art in the Park around Labor Day, the Gene Harris Jazz Festival in April, and both the Boise River Festival and the Snake River Stampede each June.

A range of budget-style motels and lodging can be found close to Boise State University, around Capitol Boulevard. Hotels are also plentiful in the city's following districts.

Downtown Boise
The downtown district is the place to head for accommodation, restaurants, street cafés and entertainment, all of which can be found in good supply. Situated in the heart of downtown Boise, the Statehouse Inn is a large, modern hotel which is particularly popular with business travelers and can be found along Grove Street. Nearby and to the west of Boise's downtown district, Cabana Inn is situated on Main Street and is a popular motel, with many reasonably priced rooms.

East End District
A pleasant mixture of historic and modern architecture, the East End of Boise contains a number of noteworthy Victorian hotels, often offering stunning views of the cityscape. Accommodation also lies close to the area's impressive parklands and the popular Warm Springs Golf Club off West Warm Springs Avenue.

Old Boise Historic District
A charming part of Boise, this district contains many renovated buildings, which date back to the end of the 19th century. Hotels in the Old Boise Historic District are known for their character, with a good selection of shops and dining venues often nearby.

North End District
An affluent and exclusive district, North End Boise is situated on the northern side of the city and contains many grand mansions, spacious avenues and top entertainment venues. Centered around Hyde Park, hotels in the North End district are well-placed to visit the seasonal Hyde Park Street Fair, which takes place every September.
